In contrast to jeremmy previous edition, this one has been extensively computer checked. I would highly recommend not the book, but the sil,an to reassess your chess workbook. I don’t what I’d have done without this book.
Silman sums up the silmsn there as well. Silman himself has told me that for instruction of his target audience, he thinks a very clear and easily assimilable message is needed–this comes from his extensive teaching experience. Looks like mastering chess requires a level of memory and dedication that’s just not possible for adults. Silman, long considered one of the best, if not the best American chess writers, has written a true magnum opus, one that he has said is his final edition of his most famous work.
This fourth and final edition completely rewritten and featuring all new examples takes Silman’s groundbreaking concept of imbalances to a whole new level. My hod Memorable Games. Like most chess instructors that I know, I find many of the leading instructional books superficial, poorly written, and thoughtlessly imitative.

I’ll take a wild guess and say that if you are ranked more than a couple hundred points less than I, this book might be a bit much for you, depending on your tenacity, of course.
