Having Gabe in bed with her would be a major temptation to attempt to seduce him again.

I think what kept me from loving the book was her behavior. I was disappointed in this one, I did not like Madison. And once they get to Whidbey Island, it’s dangefous that they were made for each other, even if they are each reluctant to admit it. Review copy provided for a voluntary review.
We are given a great HEA but it wasn’t without a lot of bumps in the road. Gabe whisks her into hiding for her own protection, but soon finds his heart is under assault by the luscious and persistent Madison.
I mean, if you can take the Espresso bandit seriously as a stalker bent on murdering coffee shop workers, not merely an oportunistic bandit, you may like this book better than I do. But tbh, too many of these rolling my eyes moment over Maddie in the first chapter alone, made it a DNF. It took almost another hour before she slipped into a light sleep, and instead of being comforted, she found herself reliving the robbery.
So many times she would tell him one thing, then hold it against her.
